I did the math, and it's unlikely that Douxie is actually 919 years old and the Battle of Killahead took place when everyone thinks it did. But also, I'm just gonna reject canon and make Douxie into Mordred. Arthur can still be terrible, refusing to acknowledge his bastard wizard son, but Arthur died in 6th century Britain and Douxie is a time traveller in my preferred vision of canon.

If you’re still taking them, for the prompt/ title thing “Into the dark woods, to find you” and maybe Mary/Claire?

So my first thought was to just do a spin-off of Bloody Hands, Guilty Conscience but Mary gets brainwashed (and not in the fun way) by Area 49-B, and jlaire never happened, for a friends to enemies to lovers fic.

But for my own fic instead of just spinning off of your fic...

Everyone else says that Claire is probably dead. She sacrificed herself. She never made it out of the woods that surround Arcadia, her body burning up in a blaze of purple fire and not even leaving ashes in Claire's wake.

But when Mary takes a walk through those strange woods, she sees a familiar shadow out of the corner of her eye. On the night of the new moon, Mary goes into the woods alone for answers, with nothing but an enchanted candle to guide her.

Oo I wanna hear about Inside us, Among us or Disobedient (A Night To Remember) if you’re still doing it!

I'll treat ya to a little bit of both!

Inside Us, Among Us is (what a shocker) based off of the game Among Us, mainly due to the ginormous spike in popularity the game had around Halloween 2020. The fic was based on the game, as well as a little bit of fan content where the imposters were crewmates infected with an actual alien parasite. Which I thought was sick as hell. The basic premise of the fic is that one of the crewmates is secretly passed on the parasite just before the previous host is ejected from the station, and said crewmate has to try and surpress the inhuman urges that come from it.

Here's a bit from the prologue!:

As for Disobedient (A Night to Remember), it was part of an AU where there's no Trollhunting business, so Jim and Toby are still mostly losers just trying to get through school each day. Preparations for the Spring Fling are under way, and wouldn't you know it, somehow Mr. Lake has been added to the roster of potential Kings. He's tempted to simply drop out of the running, when a member of the student council rolls up and tells him to stay in it: Tight Jeans Hank. Jim is utterly baffled the guy even knows he exists, but Hank offers his assistance with his 'campaign', even leaving him with his number to message more about it later.

In Disobedient itself, Hank brings Toby and Jim along to an upperclassman party, saying it'll help boost Jim's chances in the running. Because high school parties in media never go calmly, chaos ensues. Have a bit of them on the drive there:
