Well that was a lot to unpack just from that. This world’s Tim is taller and older and obviously the Robin mantle went a bit differently seeing as Dick wasn’t the oldest here and therefore the legacy hadn’t been started. Or maybe it started differently? Also this other Tim was apparently not all that cheerful.

“Hey! I fought long and hard for adding pants. I’m keeping the pants. Gotham is freezing.” He grinned back. Then reached into his belt and tossed the acrobat a cereal bar. “And what Nightwing doesn’t know won’t hurt him. I’m not gonna tell him.”

So weird talking about Nightwing when Dick was right in front of him.

Stuff assistants shouldn't know how to do. Do you know how HOT it is to see someone shoot a target at five hundred yards, through a brick wall, in the dark?!" The answer is extremely. That line between scared and aroused? That's a hell of a line to be on.

"An infuriating puzzle," Nina agreed, taking her glass. "Took ages to figure out that apparently if you used to work for Searcher's Inc, you can do a ton of things that are considered high top skills here in this city. Which explains a lot about your boyfriend, Birdie."

"If you couldn't tell, usually we don't have to try very hard to be with people we set eyes on, but she was so fucking stubborn!" Diedre took a sip shaking her head. "She'd just brush off the flirting. It's like the woman is married to working."

"Though if you ask us, she'd just as easily marry Roman if he showed interest," Nina muttered. Now that was the hot tea.

A scowl. You wouldn't need the flames in her eyes to discern the anger in the glare as she fixated on the book in his hand. How in the seven hells this annoying, insistent child beat her to the Old Book of Gotham, she doesn't know. She'd very much like to know just how much of the town's history you've been digging up to get here.

"That doesn't belong to you," she hissed. Not that it really belonged to her either. It was never meant to fall out of the hands of Alienor's family. She's glad it's fireproof, because she's not herself. Her usual 'human' looking form shifting into a fire encased silhouette and back again, fingers elongating more into claws than fingertips, as she tried to keep composure. And sanity. Alienor, Alienor, it's her handwriting peaking out from the loosened pages.

Amity thrust forward a demanding hand, pulsing with heat even as she tried to remain corporeal.

"It's worthless to you anyway! I know you possess no gifts. You can't wield anything in there. Hand it over."

          It was always confusing going back to the Tower, no matter the location, time of day or mood she was in. She doubt she’d ever get used to it. Not that she tries to hide her presence whenever she’s there she never does. 

          Taking a long drag from her cigarette she walks away from the statue graveyard casually. Lightly ficking the end of her cigarette butt as she does so. She still doesn’t see herself the type to mourn, she never has. Didn’t mean she wouldn’t visit a friend from time to time.

          Turning the corner, Rose pauses when she catches sight of someone.

      “Hey there, Bedwetter. Super Zeroes running ya ragged?”

    "depends." jason tips his head back just slightly, eyes aimed up as he considers the question. it hadn't thrown him off at all. actually, it's less weird than what he'd expect from dick. "in this scenario have you always been a worm or has someone, or something, turned you into a worm??"
