Aston Villa V Brighton Prediction 21/11/20
Aston Villa host Brighton at Villa Park on Saturday and Dean Smith’s team will be looking to keep pace with the Top 4 (not league leaders, let’s not get carried away).
For Villa, since they thrashed Liverpool 7-2 on that memorable night back in October, they’ve lost their last two matches. First a 3-0 defeat to Leeds, followed by a 4-3 defeat at home to Southampton.
For Brighton, their season got off to a bright start, with unlucky defeats at home to both Chelsea and Manchester United.
Sandwiched in between those defeats was an excellent 3-0 away win at Newcastle - he Seagulls only win of the season.
Since then it has gone down hill for Brighton though. They now sit in 16th place in the Premier League table, just 3 points from the relegation zone.
The Seagulls do look too good to down - to coin an old phrase, but if they’re not careful, they will get sucked into a relegation fight, and then anything can happen.
Prediction - Defending isn’t the main strength of either of these two teams, so with this in mind I like the look of over 3.5 goals @ 15/8
