Timpoochee has been told he will be handed over to his friend and trader, William Panton, for safe-keeping In this episode, Timpoochee finds himself being presented to the British governor, who recognizes him by his English name, Sam Story. He also finds himself astounded at the way Yonega conduct themselves in war.
