You can indulge in these guilt-free chocolate avocado cookies throughout the holiday season. Ripe avocado and almond butter are used in their creation, giving the traditional chocolate cookie a creamy, nutrient-dense texture. They're also higher in healthy fats and lower in sugar.
Ingredients: 1 ripe avocado, mashed. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1/2 cup coconut sugar. 1/4 cup almond butter. 1 egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips.
Instructions: Turn the oven on to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 175 degrees Celsius and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. The mashed avocado, egg, baking soda, coconut sugar, cocoa powder, almond butter, and salt should all be combined in a bowl. Blend until thoroughly blended. Mix the dark chocolate chips into the dough for the cookies. Spoon dough onto the baking sheet that has been prepared, ensuring that the spoonfuls are evenly spaced. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the centers are still slightly soft but the edges are set. The oven should be preheated. Take the cookies out of the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool down completely. Savor these chocolate avocado cookies that are delicious and somewhat healthy!
