A makeup cheat!
Hi guys,
Since being back at work my makeup routine has become a little basic since I have to wear a face mask and don’t want to waste makeup products when you can’t see my face.
So most of my makeup routine focuses on my eyes at the moment since that’s the part of my face you can actually see! Not gonna lie it still bugs me I have all these lipsticks at home that no one can really see at the moment, sounds stupid but there are some very pretty colours I’m excited to use. But this has meant that I’ve had more time to focus on eye makeup so I guess there’s a silverlining. This week I’ve been pretty exhausted from work so I’ve been using my new favourite eyeshadow cheat, cream eyeshadows! Charlotte Tilbury announced she would be bringing out cream eyeshadows so I decided to find a drugstore dupe first to see if I like using the formula and what works best with them. So that being said I decided to try out Avon’s Mark collection where they now have cream eyeshadows, I picked up the shade savage gold which is a gorgeous warm toned gold shade.
Now what I love most about this product is how easy it is to use. I start off applying my Revolution eyebase primer all over my eyelid and then I simply use my finger or a brush to apply the product and then I simply put it all over my lid. Suddenly my eyes go from basic to glamours in 5 seconds. It’s completely effortless and I love it. I use things like these when I want to put on makeup without a lot of effort or if I’m in a rush and just need some quick eye makeup. It’s something so simple and yet so effective. Now I’ve tried a drugstore dupe I for sure want to try a Tilbury version when they come out.
If you’re looking for a eyeshadow hack these are so worth trying out! These products from Avon cost £6.00 so it’s a real bargain if you want to try out something new. But like I said at the moment makeup has taken a shift in the way we do our normal makeup routines so there’s been a lot of adapting and changing. Though that being said I’m still wearing a full face of makeup under my mask when I want to, old habits dye hard I guess. If you want to see more check out Avon to see more.
Lots of love

Hi!
Over the last few months I’ve been venturing out of my comfort zone and trying out new eye looks whether they be brighter eyeshadows, different styles of eyeshadow and more recently adding colour to my lower lashes. I’ve kinda realised recently how adding some brighter colours on to your lower lashes really transforms a look and makes it look more glamourous. That being said I decided to browse Avon for some affordable options (as always) and decided to pick up some glimmer sticks which are basically glittery eyeliner sticks in a gorgeous teal blue shade called emerald and glittery grey shade called smokey diamond.
When i want to get products that are really creamy, pigmented and affordable i tend to browse Avon mainly because they have a massive collection but also their eye products have great staying power on the eyes which makes bolder eye looks really easy to do. These glimmer sticks are £3.50 each which first of all is hella affordable but also they’re so easy to throw into your makeup bag on the go if you want to spice up your makeup look. I tend to use the emerald shade when I’m wearing a soft warm toned nude look and want a pop of colour so i throw the pencil on my lower lashes. The smokey glitter pencil is handy when I do a smokey eye because I still haven’t got the total hang of doing eyeshadow on the lower lash line without making a bit of a mess so these pencils are the perfect secret weapon!
Products like these are so handy to have in your makeup collection because they really change transform a look and make it look brighter and have more dimension so I myself am planning to try and do more makeup looks with liners like these. So in the next month or so if you don’t see more colourful looks remind me! If you want to check out any Avon products just head over to their site

And you can see everything they have to offer and like I said earlier all of it is reasonably priced you’ll find yourself filling up your basket very quickly.
