Do I want spicy or really salty...?
His eyes wander over the various flavours of chips, contemplating which flavour he has a craving for the most. Though, if he’s being completely honest with himself, he doesn’t even know how he got here. The only item he really needs to purchase is food for his cats, yet here he is, somehow managing (again) to have his arms full of savory and sweet snacks.
There’s only one other person in the same section as him, both of them at opposite ends of the aisle, so he’s not all that bothered at the thought of looking a little foolish with a bunch of junk food in his thin arms. He’s dealt with worse.
Jinwoo doesn’t know how long he stands there for, looking at the chips but it feels like forever when he finally decides that yes, he does want the spicy flavour. As he’s reaching for the bag, very carefully and very slowly, not wanting to drop any of his snacks that he realizes, he really needs to start grabbing a basket on his way in.
He breathes a quiet, victorious ‘a-ha’ as he manages to grab the bag of chips but as he goes to take a step forward, there is a much bigger problem at hand. His shoe is untied.
Standing there, questioning his whole existence and need for copious amounts of snacks, he thinks about what course of action he can take. He can either put all the items down to tie his shoe or chance it and hope for the best. It takes him all but 10 seconds to say fuck it and start walking and it then takes him all but 5 seconds to realize just how wrong of a choice he just made.
He’s barely registering what’s happening when he flies (he swears he has to be flying) forward, all his snacks leaving the safety of his arms and the floor is suddenly getting closer and closer. He closes his eyes, his hands coming up to shield his face, getting ready for impact.
So much for flying under the radar.
