Elora/Cullen
7. What’s the first thing that changes when they realize they have feelings for the other?
For Elora, she opens up more and is more willing to talk about things in her past that are painful to talk about. She’s done a bit of that in the story already but it just goes further and she brings up more things about her family, when her magic manifested, her past relationships. Cullen becomes more comfortable with more public displays of his feelings. They aren’t overly overt because he’s still a private person, but he’s more likely than not to have a hand on her back or his arm around her waist to keep her close once he realises just what he’s feeling toward her.
20. What do their family/friends think of their relationship?
Well, Elora’s family eventually thinks she’s dead so they don’t really know she’s living in the mountains with what they’d consider a barbarian. Cullen’s family however adores the relationship and her. They’re glad that being with Elora helps Cullen finally relax and be more like the brother they knew before everything started going south with the clan.

Asha/Alistair
7. What’s the first thing that changes when they realize they have feelings for the other?
When Alistair realises, he starts doing the Fire Dance for her and when Asha realises, she finally takes his hand (because it takes several dances before this actually happens).
20. What do their family/friends think of their relationship?
Originally, Asha’s brothers aren’t quite sure what to make of Alistair as he’s essentially an interloper between clans and they aren’t sure that’s what they need after the turmoil they had in their clan already. But it quickly becomes clear to them that Alistair is exactly who Asha needed in her life and they greatly approve of Alistair. Aedan thinks Alistair’s sense of humour is hilarious but Fergus is a little more reserved on that front but other than that they greatly approve of him.
28. What do they do when they’re away from each other?
These two aren’t often away from each other in this au. After they’re together, Alistair obviously stops roaming between clans and makes a life for himself in Griffon-Wing Hold. He’ll train while Asha is busy with hold business, tell stories to amuse the children and just generally help out around the hold. As an outsider, he isn’t well received at first but he’s easy enough to like so he settles in fast. Asha just keeps herself busy repairing the hold to keep herself from thinking about him being gone. It mostly works but not always.
