Condimeteo avverse: collegamenti veloci off

The complete AV!verse, complete with beautiful art from sillygleekt. This is a repost for a new hosting site (I've been getting a lot of requests this week - anybody know if this got linked or recced somewhere?) but if you love what she did here (I did, I love it so much) you really should go let her know!
Teenage Dream headcanon
OK, so weeks ago I did that head canon meme that was going around, and aubreyli asked for head canon for Teenage Dream. So I wrote it up and Lucie looked over it and I went ahead and posted it, and then I had the MOST crippling panic of insecurity over it and took it down. Sometimes I am neurotic, what can I say.
And then tonight I felt like an asshole for not letting Aubrey see it, at least, and so I emailed it to her and she said it was fine, so here it is.
Time stamp meme fill - AV!verse prompts
I'm lazy, and consolidating prompts. Just a snippet, just a few hundred words. Apparently there's some football game happening tonight or something?
catastrophyofmypersonality asked for : The Christmas-New Years period before they get married in the AV!verse or alternatively a day or two after they get married (not going to lie, I'm a huge sucker for Hudmel fic haha)
and laralaralara just wanted some more Mallory.
When he calls her and asks her if she can be there early on January 2nd, she pauses for just a minute and his heart clenches in his chest. He hasn’t told her what for, and he grins at Kurt while he waits for her to ask, but when the silence grows he can feel the grin sliding from his face.
“Mal?” he says, down the quiet line, and then she’s giggling.
“Oh my god. Yes, of course I can be there, Anderson. Is Kurt there?”
Blaine frowns at Kurt, and then holds the phone out to him. “She wants to talk to you.”
Kurt turns from the full-length mirror and raises a brow, and then reaches out to take the phone. “Yes, Miss Graham. How can I help you today?” His voice is crisp, playfully stern, and Blaine’s grin starts to grow again, because Kurt is staring right at him, one brow still up with a devilish look in his eye.
“Of course I got him. You passed him on to me years ago, as you might remember.” Kurt pauses, and then smiles, reaching out to brush a hand over Blaine’s damp hair. “No, yes, of course. No, I didn’t tell him. And he was so excited about telling you, too. Bad form, Graham.”
The penny drops, and Blaine rolls his eyes a little and leans forward, saying loudly. “Okay, I see how it is, then. I’m going to get more coffee, and when I come back I expect to be able to tell my best friend some very exciting news.”
“No, don’t – oh, Mallory, he’s pouting now,” he hears Kurt say as he starts down the stairs, and he rolls his eyes one more time, just for his own sake.
Carole and Burt are still in the kitchen when Blaine shuffles through the doorway. He rescues his mug just before Burt grabs it for the dishwasher and pours himself a cup before sinking into one of the chairs with a sigh.
Carole looks up from where she’s working over some kind of complicated list on a legal pad, and thumps her pen against the paper while she looks at him. He just stares back, holding eye contact with her, until she tilts her head and says, “Everything okay?”
He shoves the sugar bowl back into the center of the table and smiles at her. “Yeah, it’s fine.” He stirs his coffee for another second and then says, “I called Mallory to let her know about the wedding,” and he feels himself smiling as he says the word, he still can’t help it, irritated as he is, “and she didn’t even let me tell her about it before she asked to talk to Kurt.”
Carole darts a glance behind him, over toward the sink, and Blaine keeps watching her. “How long have you known that Kurt was waiting to get married here?”
She pulls a face then, and he feels a big, damp hand clap him on the shoulder. He turns around and looks up into Burt Hummel’s kind, sympathetic face, made even more homey by the dishtowel tossed over his shoulder, and Burt smiles down at him before he moves around the kitchen table and takes the chair between Blaine and Carole.
Burt’s face is serious except for a tiny little rueful smile on his face. “Even before I was completely sure that Kurt was going to be marrying a man, I knew that his wedding was going to be a big deal. The kid had wedding scrapbooks when he was seven – and that means more than one. So when he called in March and asked Carole if she would be his Lima wedding coordinator, I figured that meant a stream of flowers and cakes and, I don’t know – harpists or something in and out of our living room.”
Blaine watches him shake his head and finish drying his hands on the towel. “What I got instead was your best friend Mallory and Leroy Berry taking over our dining room table with laptops and file folders, making phone calls and brewing coffee and comparing vote records at 10:30 on a Wednesday night, because Mal has a late shift on Thursday and she could crash in the guest room here and drive back in the morning. So, yes. It was hard not saying anything, but we all knew about this months before you did. Me, Carole, Finn, and definitely Mallory. She’s a nice girl, by the way – a real spitfire. Real set of lungs on that one, and she’s not afraid to use them.”
Blaine just smiles down at the table and tinkers with his spoon. Suddenly he can’t wait to see the two of them together; he wants to watch Burt smile at her, watch her try to argue with him.
“He’s just… god, he’s such a control freak sometimes.”
“I know,” Burt says with a resigned nod.
“But it’s really kind of sweet.”
“I know,” Burt says, his voice softer.
Kurt calls down from his bedroom. “Blaine? Mal’s ready for you now.” He returns Burt’s clap on the shoulder and heads for the stairs, taking his mug with him.
Kurt’s perched on the edge of the bed, holding Blaine’s phone out to him with a smile and a shrug.
“Hey, Mal,” he says.
“So listen up, you big baby. Kurt and I have been working on getting this right for months, and the reason I wanted to talk to him right away was because I was dying to hear all about the look on your face when you finally set the date.”
“And what did he say?” he asks, watching Kurt toss a smile over his shoulder as he walks back into the bathroom.
“He said you looked like you wanted to cry, and then like every single one of your dreams came true all at once. But, between us, I know both of you and that sounds to me like the usual Kurt Hummel dramatic interpretation bullshit, so. Want to tell me how it really happened?”
He stares at the bathroom door and sets his mug on the nightstand before he falls back onto Kurt’s bed to stare at the ceiling. He closes his eyes and imagines them back in Mal’s old bed, back in Evanston, the night before they both left for good. He cradles the phone against his cheek and he smiles and he says, “Okay. So, last night after dinner, we went out for coffee….”
