She takes the gift from her hands, a grateful look rising to the young girl's countenance. Hinata was one of her mother's treasured friends, and knowing that despite her busy schedule, she still thought of her: it was something Sarada greatly appreciated.

The girl tucks the present inside her bag, making sure it was safe from any harm. She and Sakura were to set out today on a mini trip, and she wanted to save the gift-opening for later. After all, she knew how much surprises would delight her mother.
