Here are some completed shots for Rosalina. There are still some things I’d like to improve *cough cough too much cleavage cough cough* but I really enjoyed this cosplay. The only downside was I kept getting stepped on so the back of the dress is kinda gross now ;~; also the hoop skirt wasnt as bad to get around is as I thought it would be but escalators were still pretty scarey.
Next was Rosalina. I had alot of issues with the cosplay and didn't document it well because of it. This was originally planned for Momocon 2015 but did not debut until AWA 2015. The dress I found as a sleeveless prom dress at a Goodwill. I was originally going to make the dress from scratch but found this and decided to modify it. The two biggest issues were attaching the off the shoulder sleeves in a way that did not look strange, and making sure my giant boobs didn't fall out and assault everyone (not sure I succeeded in that last one) not pictured the shoes were just heels I painted in silver glitter paint. The crown was made in a similar fashion to the sheath, foam, plastidip, primer, paint. It was my second crown and the 1st will never be seen because it was bad and I should feel bad. The wig was a bitch and a half and needs to be redone one day. May roommate did the best she could but the first owner of the wig cut it really badly. The wand was pretty easy, just a wooden rod and a foam star cutout.
I don't remember the names of the DJs at AWA 2015s dance party (aka rave) but if anyone on here does could you please let me know?? They were kickass and two of my friends were on stage during part of it. I'd love to be able to get their music yo!
