People forcing him to mold to their ideas, it was nothing new. Itachi spends ten minutes by a river meticulously washing the product out. He stinks of beauty supplies.
He's using up every second, going as far as to use a blade to scrape the dirt from beneath his nails. 5...4...3...2...1...Time's up.
Itachi’s eyes flash red, and within a second he’s swiped the blade and launched it into the nearest wall.
He stands, limbs heavy and clothing soaked and sagging, and gets out of the tub, dragging a hand back to wring his hair out of of all the product in it, and leaving without another word.
Figures that’s what he gets for trusting an alternate. He’ll tell the crows to mark that one-- to avoid.
He’ll leave no drip trail despite making no attempt to dry.
It's damn well worth it. He'll help him put on a moisturizer and comb the knots out of his hair.
Itachi stops struggling, but he also won’t help. Doesn’t lift his head to make it easier for the comb to run through, doesn’t shift his body for the lotion.
He’ll give the other two minutes to realize he hates this before he physically wrestles him off.
He's willing to make him bleed, and, when the water becomes too filthy with his grime, he pulls the plug and turns the shower on him. It's for his own good.
He’s clean, but at what cost. His skin is red and sore, and his scalp throbs horribly. He’s lost hair in this effort.
Itachi says nothing as the shower water continues to run over him and his soaked clothes, posture slightly slumped.
Washes him, clothes and all, because someone has to do it. He's going to get the hair clean if it turns the water black and gets filth under his nails. IT WILL BE CLEAN.
He’ll make faces the entire time. For one, this is very intrusive-- and very sudden. Itachi struggles momentarily to get his weapons pouch off his waist and toss it out of the tub.
He hasn’t bathed in a long time. The dirt is caked on his skin and will leave him at least two skin shades lighter when rubbed off, though it’ll be red first, with the effort required.
His scalp will bleed.
