“It’s not so much that as it merely having been more than sixteen years since I used it, having stopped when I was around four years old, after my predecessor’s crew fished me outta the sea.” Faris said, a bit uncomfortable with the discussion, but she felt that Garnet could be trusted enough to know of her origins. 

“That’s one of the reasons why I go by the name I use now, in addition to my current career making using it a risk to simply mention it half the time. My crew doesn’t really care, but that doesn’t say much about other pirates.” Not to mention the Chancellor of Tycoon insisting she only go by the name she’d for all intents and purposes abandoned, and that she live in a proverbial gilded cage for the rest of her life. Neither of which have even the smallest inkling of a probability.

 Carbuncle was walking around outside Alexandria castle in her fox form, it was much easier to get around in four legs then on two. It was dead at night when she saw Garnet walking in a nightgown. She saw that her eyes were closed, was she sleep walking? 

Carbuncle decided to follow her just encase, she saw her walking towards a ledge. She turned to human form as she ran towards her, luckily she grabbed her and pulled her up just in time.

“I’m glad I caught you in time, that was a close call. You were sleep walking, perhaps you should go home. I think I will take you, I’m worried something else will happen to you” she said to her She couldn’t help but want to help the young Queen, she after was a summoner so Carbuncle felt like it was her duty to protect her.

So far it had been a calm day here in the streets of Lindblum’s outer districts. He had been able to buy the few things he needed, the streets were practically empty and not filled by the usual buzz the main districts were subject to, and the weather was quite agreeable to, with a soft breeze to help one keep a cool head despite the sun shining down so brightly - Truly, it was a day after his liking so far.

But apparently this calm peace was not meant to last.

Curtesy of his big ears, he could hear rapid footsteps approaching, followed by some shouting in the distance - and it both appeared to be headed this way. Staring attentively into the direction the noise came from he hoped to determine it’s source, curious as to what it might be.

Though, whatever or whoever it was, one thing seemed clear: They were not running through these narrow streets without a reason to do so...

     “ A friend, of course. ” The answer came swiftly and was followed by a wide smile.     “ Perhaps that is a surprise to some... ”, he continued, teasingly. “ But, it is the truth.     And I would be hard-pressed to find a better one, really... if you believe that. ”

The truth of it, really, was much more than just that. They were friends, certainly. But, the word hardly seemed to fill the depth of what they’d become. They’d shared much during the course of their journey, some things willingly and other not. By the end of it, they’d both found themselves changed, strangely, gradually. And suddenly, the summoner had found it hard to imagine the trip without him or even Spira without him, at that.

Perhaps they had appeared dissimilar from the start and, in many ways, they were and would always be. But, there had been more, he felt, that they had shared, things that made them alike and brought them together. Whether brought together by some act of fate or chance, it mattered not.

He was, and would remain, eternally grateful.

Thoughts on the fandom you're currently rping in?

It’s so laid back compared to DARP?????

Don’t get my wrong, I like the Dragon Age games, but at this point, if you say ‘Dragon Age’ I get an instant spike of anxiety. Damn near everyone in that fandom gave off the impression they were slowly dissecting your characters so they could personally inform you of why they were Problematic.

And this fandom is so much more responsive????

Like, I have about a fifth of the amount of followers here on Noct as I did on Alistair. I was a popular Alistair. Despite that, most memes I reblogged over there got ignored, or I would only get replies I couldn’t respond to because they were sent in from the shrine of reblog karma. Here, if I reblog a meme I can basically count down from five and there’s something in my inbox.

Consequently I reblog All The Memes because getting actual attention still feels like a novelty I need to milk.

Anyway. I like this fandom.
