2019 Drarry Awards Voting Form

Voting closes 10th February 2020. As each category will have two winners please select two fics per category. It will not be possible to edit votes after submission. For any questions please contact [email protected].

The previous post linking to the Drarry Awards 2019 voting form appears to be broken. If you’re going to reblog please use this post. We’ve already had over 90 votes (that’s 180 votes per category!) and smashed the 2018 record!

Excluded votes

It’s brilliant to see the enthusiasm that people have for voting in these awards but please do remember that if you vote for more than two fics in the same category your vote will be excluded.

For example: if you vote for five fics in the Best Fic 2019 category and two fics in every other category every single vote you’ve cast will be excluded.

Everyone gets two votes per category.

I’ve already excluded three people’s votes, because they voted for mulitple fics in the same category. Last year many of the second and third placed fics only had one vote between them, so if your vote is excluded it really could make a difference between whether your fave wins or not.

Broken links

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to get in touch and point out broken links. Fingers-crossed that they’ve all been fixed now!

I noticed you don't have a category for Best Co-authored fic? Is that something that could be suggested? There's a few really good co-authored fics that I'd love to see win something.

Hi, nice suggestion! This year's categories are set but I'll include that category next year, for sure.

In the meantime co-authored fics are eligible to be nominated for all categories!

We've had a few questions about how the nominations are collected and the simplest answer is to show you what the back of the form looks like. As you can see the organisers are unable to edit answers, or to see the email addresses of those who have responded.

Congratulations to the writers who have already been nominated!

Reminder:

Nominations will be open until 20th January 2019, followed by an announcement on 25th January 2019. Then you have a month to read the nominated fics and vote for your favourites before the winners are announced on 25th February 2019!

Thanks for doing these drarry awards! Quick question, when do we get to hear who has been nominated? Do the people who have been nominated themselves hear sooner?

You're welcome! The slightly modified timeline is as follows:

20th January - the list of nominated fics will be published online and all nominated writers will be tagged.

25th January - voting for each category will open.

25th February - (the same night as the Academy Awards!) Voting closes and the two winning fics for each category will be announced.
