The Bloom in Mud
The lotus doesn’t mind where it begins. It pushes through the heavy, the hidden, the hard—until it finds the sun. I think about that when I’m sanding an edge or fixing a pour that didn’t cure right. The mud isn’t the mistake; it’s the start.
