7. Favourite bands? I wouldn’t say I have favourite bands but I’d love to go to a Coldplay concert so I suppose I can count them as such haha?

8. Favourite solo artist? Sia, Adele and I’m sure many others that I don’t think about right now. But just like bands I’m not really a fan of one/a few artists in particular, it’s more about “I love this song” etc.

9. Song stuck in my head? Burning House – Cam bc I’m currently reading @elsaclack‘s Sleepwalking fic so I just wake up with this song in my head and fall asleep to it and it stays with me almost all day long haha.

Author’s Note: It’s been a while since I wrote anything so this is a short and sweet attempt.

It’s him, you know it’s him. He’s the one you can’t look at without smiling, without loving him more each time. You think back to the times before you knew, when you only thought of him platonically. He hadn’t changed much, sure he’d grown and become sweeter but the light-hearted banter between you two was the same.

You'd laugh and joke just as you were sure he did with Charles, but recently it felt like something more. So much more. The way his eyes would linger after seeing you smile, the look that made you feel like a 15-year-old with a crush again.

You’re on the way back from a bust, late at night, going on 2 am when he stops the car. When he says the words you’ve wished him to for months. When you finally get to kiss him. It’s everything you’d imagined.

You wake up in his apartment, snuggled up in his hoodie, keeping it because it just feels so goddamn nice. He kisses you on the way to work, and you just know that he’s as hopelessly in love as you.

It just seems so perfect. Years later you’ll look back and cherish those memories, how it felt so perfect and how it was only the beginning. Now you aren’t detectives together anymore. Instead, you’re his commanding officer, it doesn’t feel worse like you imagined, but sitting proudly in your office, with the your “Capt A. Peralta” nameplate and his pictures of the two of you on his desk. you just know this is perfection.
