Australian Wooden Boat Festival

What a fabulous weekend the 6-9 February is for Hobart! Every two years, Hobart hosts the Australian Wooden Boat Festival (AWBF) which unites a wide variety of much loved wooden boats and people. Tall ships, speed boats, sailing boats, all boats wooden and beautifully preserved, come together at Sullivan’s Cove waterfront docks for this treasured Tassie event. The AWBF weekend includes entertainment, music and exhibitions galore for the grown ups as well as the little ones!
