Again. Alyssa Ashcroft in the main Outbreak games is PRICKLY. She's MEAN as shit, she's COLD as fuck, and she's fucking intimidating. She's tall, and nasty, and she WILL pick fights if you have her as an AI companion with A LOT OF THE ZOMBIES... She does have a HUGE damage output as well so it's NOT actually all talk. Her bite is JUST as bad as her bark and her bark is BAD.

She started changing after Raccoon City because she took the Raccoon Trials by the balls and started cutting Umbrella's throat for legitimately selfless purpose. THAT was what changed her. Not Grace. Spencer's interview invitation absolutely shocked her. She was, by that point, a seasoned investigator and professional PI. Her nasty bite and bark turned into an incredible weapon that she just became more discerning with and could mete out when needed. You see that she's STILL cold and calm in extremely dangerous and stressful situations, and she's still strong, stubborn, and doesn't think twice about defending herself.

Alyssa didn't change after becoming Grace's mom because she didn't need to. Right place right time sort of deal. Spencer basically threw his poker hand down and let Alyssa walk away with the chips, including taking Spencer's hope away. She fucking damned him to the end with her magazine expose, and several articles after.

She got the chance to be mom, which is something she thought she'd absolutely never have, and she enjoyed it. Did it change her? Yeah of course in terms of her making room in her life for Grace. I know this is sad to say but we REALLY don't get a lot of parents who genuinely like their children as people in Resi and she's one of the ones that actually does.

By the way, she still bites like hell to the end. I wouldn't be surprised if Grace had the opinion that Mom is scary as hell when she's mad.

🎲 What loot would I carry as an NPC? I got a few of these so I’m giving each person an item from my inventory! I’m giving you my C4 energy drink. You can pick between the blue Frozen Bombsicle flavor or the red Fruit Punch can.

📚 What am I reading? Currently kinda nothing. I was in the middle of The Crystal Shard from the Drizzt series audiobooks, but I haven’t listened in a few months. I have been debating picking up some of the Dragon Age comics and reading them though!

💜 Favorite Minth moment!!! GREAT QUESTION OMG. This is so hard to pick cause I can think of a few things that stick out for various reasons. While difficult to pick *the* fav moment, one of the ones I do really like is when in Act 3 she enters Tav’s mind and starts to search, but catches herself and withdraws. She apologizes and realizes it’s an old habit, then asks for permission to see Tav’s thoughts again. I like this a lot cause it’s very different from when she intrusively does it when we first meet her at goblin camp. This is much later since goblin camp and without the Absolute’s influence, we can really see more of who she authentically is. That moment also feels softer for her and trusting, because Minthara cares about Tav’s boundaries, privacy and what Tav thinks about her, wanting to see herself through Tav’s eyes.

For the Yan Sim AU, would the Tweevils (Aether and Lumine) act any different if it were Traveler/Heroic!Lumine and Abyss/Villainous!Aether instead?

Yes! They’d do a complete 180 in terms of personality and in their dynamics compared to how it is now. (>^ω^<)

I could feature a little Swap by making Aether the villain and Lumine the hero vice versa within the CYOA in the 3rd life if there’s enough people wanting that! However, be warned there will be butterfly effects put into action should the swap that happen.
