Here’s a selfie and three things about me right now: 1. @lowdertiff started a #thursday3 thread in the Scrap Gals Facebook group tonight, and I’m loving seeing everyone’s selfies and hearing about their lives. Documenting yourself(ie) and your story is a very good thing. 2. I had the absolute BEST long conversation with a scrappy friend tonight that left me feeling so inspired and excited about art and life and this amazing hobby. 3. Another Thursday, another #thursday3 — @rukristin’s weekly self-documentation project where you share a selfie and three things about you right now. Here’s what’s up with me: 1. I have scrapbooked a little every day for the last five days straight, which is pretty unheard of for me. Feels great to be creative and productive on weeknights! 2. We’re feeling especially lucky this week, because Dan got laid off on Tuesday, but he got a great job offer on Wednesday. How’s that for good timing?! 3. Excited that tomorrow is Groundhog Day. I got tagged for #thursday3 last week by the lovely @alltheneffyness and promised to participate this week, so here goes! 1. I absolutely love those giant snow mountains that are left in parking lots after they’re plowed. (I’m standing in front of one in this pic.) I like how they hang around long after everything else has melted. 2. My birthday is next week. Do you share your birthday with any celebrities? I’m in good company with David Bowie, Elvis, and Charles Osgood of CBS Sunday Morning. 3. Christmas decorations are still up at my house. The 12 Days of Christmas don’t begin until December 25th after all, and then we pretend the decorations are for my birthday before they come down. Your turn! I’d love to see your #thursday3. Who else loves a GIANT title?!
