Changes I would make to english if I was Mr.English
Hey guys, so I've been thinking of some changes I would make to English if I were big Mr.English and could do whatever I wanted :)
I would abolish the letter C. I think its unnecessary to have this letter tbh, like we already have K for the hard sound, and S for the soft sound. The only time I think this letter is really necessary is in words like chocolate that start with ch. but then again we could just like make a new letter thats way cooler, or do what some other languages do, and just have C represent the "ch" sound, and nothing else. it would be like 10x more awesome
Bring back thorn!!!!! I love this letter ughhhhh!! (or should I say þis letter *wink*) its just so damn awesome oh em gee. If only the world knew how often I scroll r/BringBackThorn and never post anything cause I'm too nervy. I wish I had the confidence to use this in all my writing. Sometimes when I'm taking notes in class I use it and I feel a bit silly. "ooooooo if anyone reads my maþ homework þey'll be slightly confused, able to read all except one letter and then probably decipher using context clues oooo."
Honestly thats all I have right now, I'll maybe think of some more and maybe make a pt.2, probably not tho. I really hope some smart language nerd doesn't see this post, they'd probably say something like "uhhhh this wouldn't work" or "we cant be selective with what language we revive" but I don't care!!! I live in my own imaginary awesome land and if you're gonna be a party pooper than you're not allowed in. !WARNING! !FUN ZONE! and you'd be scared away cause u hate joy laughter and all things mystical. So for now before the evils come find me I will continue to live happily in awesome land and write my math notes however I so please :DDDDD Bye friends and have a happy third week of January!
