My app hasn't been updated, and I plan on trying to keep it that way, but I'm pretty concerned about the whole hiding notes from op thing. That seems like a good way to not only take engagement away from creators, but also it could be easier to harass users if they can't see your reblog. I can't see this going well for the controversial girlies like myself. I don't want to be tumblr's next lolcow all because I can't see what people are saying under my posts. 😭
Just go into your app store and turn off auto updates in the settings. I've been doing that for years — I don't update Discord, either.
This seems like an outrageously stupid decision and I can't imagine what possible benefit @staff thinks this gives to the website. This doesn't improve a single thing.
Anyway. Mutuals can DM me for my phone number. We'll make a group chat and just text like the old days.
