and what's crazy is at the austen book club today i was asked about my masters and i hatee talking about my masters with people bc the inevitable question of what was ur thesis on and in this case there was an academic involved in the convo so she asked A Lot but my diss isn't particularly a welcome topic lol being about rape and as soon as the academic left one of the other ladies said how her daughter's friend went to prison for a falsely accusing someone of rape and she started saying how so many people lie about it etc. and i'm like. right but they don't though do they
