My CMC Experience
Good day! In this assignment, I will write down what I have learned in our class, Computer Mediated Communication.At first, I thought it would be hard for me to understand or even perform poorly but when our professor explained what CMC is my face lightened up a bit.
Communicating online is widespread as of this generation and we are one of them. Even in our class, computer or online lesson are involved and it makes our class more convenient and we can easily access to every lesson we tackle. This class thought me how to properly use the social media especially in communicating or sharing files. Almost all teenagers are multimedia users and some of them are not aware of the danger that is present in each website they visit. Even the most trusted applications are not that safe to provide your personal background. The one thing that struck me about the lesson we tackled was about the harmful things that we might encounter in social media. And when it comes to online gaming, I don’t really have comment about it because I don’t play games online. Back when I was an elementary student, I usually play online games with my cousins but just in a short period of time.
In class, we enjoyed every lesson because of some classmates of mine that’s goofing around. Every seat work and lessons we had, we enjoyed each of it. Our professor guided us throughout the class and explained to us what really CMC is about.
