“Pain makes you stronger.” “Fear makes you braver.” “Heartbreak makes you wiser.”
“Start each day with a grateful heart.”
“The princess and the dragon...”
Because Jenny asked me to. DA Questions
1. I got into Dragon Age after having played Bioware games for years already. I loved the company, and I loved the concept, so it was a day one buy for me.
2. I have yet to finish Inquisition, though it's definitely on my "to do" list
3. N/A I've beaten the first two 2-5 times each, with one of the playthroughs of DA:O taking less than 30 hours, accomplishing practically every single thing in the game.
4. My first Warden was a City Elf Rogue that used two weapons. He was snarky, and a bit unconventional, but was a good guy.
5. My first Hawke was similar, though a bit of a loner. He was the same class though.
6. My Inquisitor is a male rogue, though he's mostly just confused so far.
7. My favorite backstory was either Dwarven noble, city elf, or human noble.
8. I love playing rogues. There's something about being able to stealth and then surprise the shit out of somebody that I really like.
9. I tend to play males more often, though I've also beaten both games using a female character.
12. So far I prefer DA:O the most. I really hated the laziness behind much of DA2, and I haven't gotten into DA:I enough to form an educated opinion.
14. My party was always Sten, Alistair, and Morrigan. At least while I was a rogue.
15. My favorite companion was Alistair. He was just so damn witty.
16. My warden did survive. I can't say he was overly attached to Morrigan, but he certainly did like living.
17. My Mabari was named Archon, I think I pulled the name from one of my Fable playthroughs, though I'm not too certain.
18. I think I had Alistair rule. I attempted to get the queen to like my Warden, but we botched it and then things were awkward.
21. Always the Mages. It feels dirty to anything else.
22. My party was Fenris, Anders, and Isabella.
23. No. Never.
26. I haven't even gotten this far yet, but we all know I'll go with the mages
28. Awkward since he doesn't believe in that nonsense, not that he won't use it to help someone out, or if all else fails, at least get ahead a little.
29. The Chantry is full of a bunch of hateful assholes that seem to enjoy controlling others more than helping. I mean, there are a few exceptions, but still.
30. The idea behind the Circle is repulsive in that it trusts people only to the extent that they will keep breathing if told to do so. I hate that children are stolen away and told that they are evil all their lives. An organization that is there to help its fellow mages makes sense. An organization that is little more than a prison...pisses me off.
31. All of the DLC in DA:O, only a little of DA2
32. I loved Anders in Awakening. As a fellow cat lover, he is probably my favorite companion ever.
33. ^
34. Carver is such an ass.
35. Anders.
37. There is potential for blood magic to be useful, but there is also potential for it to cause great harm. Magic, in and of itself, is not evil, its the practitioners that cause problems.
40. I saved Loghain once and Alistair left. Never again.
41. Wellllllll, mostly Morrigan in the first game. Living was good. My heart was always for Leliana though.
45. Alistair, Anders, and Varric
49. I can never bring myself to side with the templars.
92. I got my sister into playing DA
100. None. As a rule, I don't like most organizations.
101. Holy shit. And then I wouldn't know where to go from there.
