Spencer has been avoiding you like the plague and any time he has to speak to you his voice is filled with sass and sarcasm witch is odd because he is literally your best friend.
You take your chance when you’re in the hall alone together, you grab his arm and drag him into a supply closet, “what the —“ “no shut up what the hell is going on with you spencer?” You cut him off.
“None of your business” he says his voice is unconfident and shaky, “Spence talk to me, you’re never like this what’s wrong?” You say finding his hand in the dark closet.
“It’s nothing, I’m just jealous” he mumbles. What would he be jealous of? Why is he taking it out on you? You have so many questions.
“Why love?” You say squeezing his hand a bit to reassure him.
“I heard you and Penelope talking about your boyfriend” he mumbles and your jaw drops, you laugh without meaning to.
“Did your mother never teach you not to eavesdrop Spence? I wasn’t talking about my boyfriend because I don’t have one I had a date that pen planned to help me get over someone” you say leaving the part that you were trying to get over him out.
“Oh… oh my god I’m sorry” he says hugging me.
“And why would you be jealous spence? Are you scared that we won’t be the same I if I get a boyfriend or is it something else?” I ask and he pulls away from me.
