Yeah, it's from the Cantarella musical. It has no less than four versions of Cantarella, two versions of Cendrillon and two versions of Paradichlorobenzene (for some reason)

I don't mind repetitive games as much as I probably should. What's the harm in doing something repeatedly, as long as it's something fun? In Odin Sphere, the levels are literally made of circles connected by straight paths. You're literally just running in circles, and I still play the hell out of it.
I guess I'm just weird like that. I'm not entirely sure how Pokemon can give one an existential crisis, though...

At any rate, I'm sure I must have been playing before that, but I can't put any specific date to it.

Can't say. My memory's shot, and I was pretty young at the time. The furthest I can remember something definite was playing Tomb Raider (or something like that. It was definitely a PS1 game) in the third grade or so. So, at the very least, I was eight.
If we're talking about a system that was mine, specifically, I remember being given a PS2. I think I might have been in middle school by then, but I can't remember.
