Silly Azure hc day!! Literally just me projecting onto him [physically bc I have a lopsided smile, I did none of these other things though] because I think it’s cute.
-> So Azure was born with sort of weak facial muscles on one part of his face, as a result they have a sort of lopsided smile. On the same side, their eye doesn’t quite crinkle when they’re happy unless they make it do so themselves.
-> Growing up, he was very insecure of his smile. Tending to try and ‘even’ it out in photos by barely smiling, intentionally smirking, practicing his smile in the mirror until it was just bearable enough, avoiding photos in general, etc. Anything so they didn't need to be reminded of the one thing they hated about their face. [He doesn’t have very many insecurities, so this one hit pretty hard whenever he had to acknowledge it.]
-> Later on, after he met Two Time: they were curious about why he never really smiled, even when happy. So—albeit begrudgingly—he told them about that little insecurity of his.
To say the least, that lopsided smile soon became a favorite feature for Two Time.
