I do think if Kirsh eventually got in the bed because Meg wouldn't stop talking about how awful she felt just watching him sit there. Kirsh may not care about being treated like a synth. But she cared greatly and trying to sleep with him just sitting upright in the corner of the room was a little weird.
He deserved comfort just as much as she did and this was supposed to be a vacation, of sorts. He didn't even have a room of his own, more like a maintenance closet. Finally done with her insistence he shrugged off his jumpsuit and climbed into bed.
Laying down precisely and stiffly. Meg did her best to ignore the fact that he was laying next to her. Pleased to see him relax she grinned,
"Better right?"
Kirsh slowly turned his head to the side to face her, seeing him that way next to her in bed immediately made her get flustered and she rolled over fast muttering a quick good night. Being near her warmth and presence in such a comfortable place was a welcome change.
Allowing himself to do so, and because he did trust Meg, he went into standby mode.
When they woke up, Kirsh opening his eyes first, she was draped across his chest fast asleep. Her leg also wrapped around his closest to her, leaving him unable to move. Drooling slightly and squishing against him, Kirsh was forced to let out a resigned exhale and wait for her to wake up. Not that he didn't enjoy it immensely.
