Yeah I wouldn’t say you’re the problem either. Its just like there are so many edits out there that sexualize every essence of a person and Charlie Cox on Daredevil is one of the greatest examples of that with the lips/beard appreciation that makes me cringe. Also yeah brotps don’t exist enough, its like it can happen for women on here cause yeah women friendly to women makes them happy but for men its like no they’re in love for sure. It feels good to rant about this on here and to know that there are others that agree cause its annoying when I just want to talk metas, plot, and edit things while people are making tumblr uncomfortable as fuck.

Lmfao that’s what I rant with my friends on here who are mostly female. They completely agree, its like let’s do what men do to women in the media? I just don’t get this whole perception that tumblr can’t be comfortable for everyone. Tumblr is not a private website where you just blog for yourself cause people are beyond the posts you reblog. It is also interesting how there are countless edits of men being sexualized to fucking hell like Charlie Cox who is much more then his abs? I’m not ignorant of women being way more sexualized in the media but don’t play the equality card if you’re going to do the same thing the media does.

coulson is a very lovable character, but he's not in canon. it pisses me off that they prefer a non canon white male to a canon woman, it's part of the problem i have with marvel right now. i still love the show mind you

Yes, they do a lot of things right in this show, but of course there are always flaws. I live for the day when we get an absolutely perfect show ;)

but that's my point, she shouldn't have, canon makes it very clear she's shield to the core because let's face it, what is her role in aou? if she's not there, it's exactly the same! how could a woman be director, apparently :(((

ohh yeah.. it’d have been really cool if she was director, i agree. it does feel out of character that she gave up on shield so easily and coulson didn’t.. they could’ve worked on it together, and since she already outranked coulson, it makes sense she would be director.
