Do you want me to get lynched or something? Just kidding. 

It is time to stop acting like fanon theories = canon. They are not and will never be canon unless they were proved to be canon over time. 

Example 1: before MJ1 premiered I said a lot that Alma is a D13 native. During the press tour Julie confirmed this, therefore it is canon. Yes, I watched a lot of the press junket.

Example 2: people claiming Alma is actually from the Capitol. In truth there is no proof about this, therefore NOT canon.

Easy to see the difference right? Well, apparently this fandom has a hard time grasping this. And this applies to every single character. It doesn’t matter where you go, you’ll find theories everywhere and people acting like they are canon.

You can have all the headcanons you want, adapt any character for representation, do what makes you happy guys. I’m all in for that, seriously. But for the love of Panem, do not act like it is canon and get mad when people call you out on it. Yes, there is a lot of room for canon improvement, there’s lots of things I’d personally change but I cannot. Why? BECAUSE I DID NOT WRITE IT, I HAVE NO OWNERSHIP OVER IT. 

I can adapt it. I can use piles of headcanons and AUs to write my own interpretation to my heart’s content. But that’s it.

'rough touch'

It happened so quickly. Her anger overcame her, as it often did, and she just wasn’t thinking. They had been snarling at one another, going back and forth with insults and threats and taunts to fill the silent room with some kind of sound, and Enobaria grew bored of it- also as she often did. It was odd for her to let it get to her like this, to react physically instead of scoffing her off. She supposed this was the result of being tired and stressed and sick of being trapped in a room filled with mentors as they all waited for their damn tributes to just die already. These games seemed to be going on for weeks and she was so exhausted. All she wanted was to get back to her bed, her gym, her district.

And so she lunged. 

Her teeth tore into the side of Johanna’s neck, and if she hadn’t been yanked backwards by a strong set of arms just as fast as her razor sharp teeth made contact, she would have done actually damage instead of leaving a bite mark and Johanna would have been in trouble. Still, there was a taste of blood in her mouth and then she was choking on it despite the little amount. Never before had she actually lunged at someone to use her teeth- she had used them with clients, the people who wanted to be bit, but never as an act of violence, not since she had them filed down.

The room was staring at them before moving to Johanna’s aid and she stared back, blood dripping down her chin as her chest heaved. Whoever had yanked her off was pulling her back and away and out of the room, probably before Johanna’s shock wore off and she retaliated.

    “ Do you hear me sayin’ you should? ” Johanna hated the Capitol’s reporters too. Fortunately, they laid off her quite quickly after she destroyed a few expensive cameras and built a reputation of a victor prone to aggression.

“No, but you were THINKING it.” Her retort sounded sullen and childish even to her own ears, which she didn’t doubt that Johanna would be glad to point out. “Not all of us are strong enough to ATTACK a cameraman three times our size, you know.” Though the other girl was younger, she was stronger and BOLDER as well.
