Frnkiero Andthe Cellabration. in der Berghain Kantine (04. Mai 2015)

Clip of Frank singing with Axis of
Frank Iero andthe Cellabration with Axis Of and Homeless Gospel Choir in The Underworld, Camden Town, London /10.05.2015
Sort of deja vu happened with so many familiar faces in the queue, with the same support bands (minus Milk Teeth) as on 28th April. But then the vibe was a bit different, the crowd was a bit different during the shows. But that’s alright. Even though it seemed to be less sweaty than last time it must have been more intense since shows were stopped at least two times so people could be pulled out.
But there was one more reason it was more intense - it was the last show of the tour, the last one in this ‘squad’. Maybe that’s why during one of the Axis Of’s songs the rest of the performers stormed into the stage and created bursting with laughter and music beautiful chaos. Maybe that’s why not only Derek was onstage to help out sing with Frank during his set, but Axis Of was called out until they finally got onstage and merry spirit exploded again.
Axis Of went ballistic and the temperature in the room raised rapidly when they opened the show. Chorus: ‘All my bones go to bed’ was sang along cheerfully and loudly. And people in the crowd weren’t just being polite, they meant every word and scream and clap. This is definitely a band to watch with nicely taylored rock songs with catchy chorused, great vocals. Northern Irish alt rock kicking ass live.
They will be playing at Camden Rocks Festival on 30th May in Camden Town.
Homeless Gospel Choir (Derek Zanetti) - this guy is so genuine in what he’s doing. He’s sarcastic, funny and he’s not afraid to speak the truth, fight for it and form protest songs about various important issues. But this time his performance seemed a bit more (even more than the last time) personal, more intimate at some point, heartfelt. He even gave his guitar to one of the fans, saying she inspired him a lot and that was his thank you. It would be nice to see him sometime soon again.
Frank Iero andthe Cellabration - Frank was so... radiant. His smile was wide and brand he seemed to be a bit more chatty this time. And of course he crowd surfed. They fear, anger, frustration and whatever feeling contained in the lyrics came to life as therapeutic release, united all those broken hearts, heavy thoughts’ minds and madness covered us all with raw riffs, crazy drums and Frank’s scream. But the loud and rough part was broken by unexpected melancholic, stripped down ‘Stage 4 Fear of Trying’.
So it was definitely night of surprises and giving the best onstage.
