Despite being a 1950's housewife, she has somehow settled into life and survival best of all.

Born and raised in Spain, she moved to the US when she fell in love with a young banker and hasn't been back home since. 

She's since grown to hate her husband, but she has three young sons and all she wants is to get back to them. 

She arrived two weeks before the others did and in that short period she learned plenty about Ayandril and how to navigate the new world. 

She's more fascinated by 2012 than by the new dimensions.

Works for a “geek” website blogging about TV news and reviews and sometimes dogsits. 

Has zero experience in the outdoors. 

Was 100% unprepared in PJs and wellies and a beanie .

Of all of them she’s the most genre savvy and has the best grasp of inter-dimensional travel.

Attracts all sorts of animals.

THE ACCOUNTANT

Is often mistaken for being imposing and intimidating, but he's only been in one fight in his life and he was knocked out in one hit. 

He actually enjoys his job and it is what he wanted to do when he started school.

Has been surprisingly calm and accepting about the entire dimensional travel bit. 

He's not sure how, but he's become Ellie's favorite person.

Most of all, he misses his cat.

THE STUDENT

elizabeth "liz" corcoran

Just started her first year at NYU with the intention of studying Poly Sci. 

Was right in the middle of the Subway heading home from school late at night when the rift appeared and swept her up. 

Is the youngest of four and the only girl.

Naturally very lovable and generally even-tempered, the sudden upheaval hasn't been easy on her. 

Insists on carrying around her purple laptop even though it's of no use in Ayandril.

THE VETERAN

ned perry

was part of her majesty's royal marines from the time he graduated until two years ago.

shrapnel from an ied hit him upper right leg and damaged a number of nerves. he was honorably discharged.

hasn't properly adjusted to life outside the military and had just finished his rehabilitation when they were transported. 

somewhere inside he's a little pleased at their situation, it's something he's almost comfortable with

THE DOCTOR

darcy marsh

was in the middle of a pediatrics residency.

her new step-father sent her on vacation with her younger sister in an effort to gain their favor.

after graduating high school she moved across the country to go to school and then decided to stay there.

has an insatiable need to help and heal anyone they come across, which is troublesome when on the run from a massive military force and a number of the people she’s trying to help are very willing to give them up.

her main concern is getting her sister home safe.
