i imagine, since ayeituaee is set in an alternate reality, that archie (archipelego, the speedrunner) was once on extremely good pace while streaming (generally they would've been a pretty well known and extremely good runner, somewhat ahead of their time), somewhere around what would've been a sub15 time when wr was around 20 minutes, but then got a 30 minute long perch (extreemly unlikely!!!!) and just sat there until the dragon perched. right after they had another run where they dragon took even longer to perch but they just quit to title and stopped streaming. this was alongside their generally long history of horrible dragon perch rng where it would often take much, much longer than usual to perch.
a few minutes later they uploaded the footage of the insane wr pace that lost to an extremely unlikely event alongside the run that came right after with the even worse dragon perch with a description saying "if we ever get a way to skip onecycle i might return, my perch rng is horrible" but even once the zero cycle was a thing and implemented they never returned and now they're kind of an occasional "if you know you know" mention, with a few videos on how they lost one of the most monumental world records, and how they vanished completely after because the video of the lost wr + next run with horrible perch time was the last time anyone saw them post anything publically
they'd just chosen a new username and made new or renamed old accounts everywhere a few months after the whole thing while leaving their original accounts alone, just to kind of distance themself. they're completely fine. on the leaderboards is their old 21:43 pb with their old username still attached because they just made a new src account years later to run categories that didn't require killing the dragon (because of their absurd "bad luck" that is definently nothing but bad luck and definently not something weird going on).
there's probably someone who was scrolling through the src leaderboards and stumbled upon their last public pb and watched it out of curiosity because of it's age, and seen them use some strats that hadn't entirely been figured out yet, just intending to make a short video like "hey look at this cool old speedrun that was ahead of its time" that then turned into some 4 hour long video essay because of the rabbit hole that archie's whole speedrunning history is, with the absurdly bad and long dragon perches, how they were ahead of their time is basically any category they played, and their disappearance from the internet and how nobody knows what happened to them. they would comment on that video with their original youtube account like "huh wonder who that guy is" and then "disappear" again just to fuck with people but i'm sure there's speculation about them returning
