I wouldn’t be surprised if he hadn’t any  in the first place and if he did then maybe just rocks or something....? So nice coloured rock. Pets... maybe just some outdoor cat, that was half feral at best and also wasn’t his pet, just neighbours wandering cat(s).

what makes them happy.

Guns. Genuine praise (about things he wouldn’t feel conflicted about lol). Shooting really difficult target.

It starts off just like any other night. Sneaking past the door security and settling down to crouch next to the empty shipping containers that had long since become her ideal place of hiding. While it's rather empty now, surely there will be more people crowding in soon enough and so, Rin makes herself comfortable. If her intel had been correct, she'd finally be able to get the information she'd been looking for all these months. Idle chatter washes over the ten or so that had gathered and though she can make out bits and pieces, a full conversation isn't able to be pieced together.

Then it happens. A commotion and raised voices echo throughout the place, alerting the others so much that they turn to see what it's all about. From her hiding place, she too peaks to see what it is. 'Who the hell is he?' There's an unexpected visitor, that much is clear when the few that had gathered brandish their weapons in preparation of what's to come. 'Whoever you are, you just made a big mistake.' Their words don't seem to deter him. Then she sees him, under the dim lighting. He's tall, with sharp features and bright blond hair. What catches her attention, though, is the slight blood spatter that adorns the suit he wears. It's over before she can even fully process what's going on. One by one, they all fall to the ground without having put up much resistance.

"...No way," She doesn't realize that she's said it out loud until his head turns toward her direction. Though it's in vain, she ducks down and tries to calm herself. But it's far too late because before she can properly gather her bearings, he's staring down at her and Rin immediately feels her entire body freeze up. "I...I'm not with them." Is all she can manage to say in her defense. "And I won't tell anyone either. They deserved it."
