(If you want to get technical, Takuto, someone’s soul is inside every Cybody. You mean to say a human soul is trapped by this one.)

Now they’re catching on! And you know things have turned to shit when even Head is alarmed and horrified at what he is seeing here.

So neat how the Crux leaders make that single protective bubble, though. At a moment of true crisis and peril such as this, I like that they’re not just self preserving but looking out for one another too.

Manticore and Professor Green are both way too stoked up and ignorantly overconfident about this. They think they know what they’re to be dealing with based on studies on Ayingott while it was inactive. But Ayingott reawakened is something else entirely...

So this is why moving to the second phase really mattered so much to the Crux. They couldn’t locate the unknown Maiden without it.

Ayingott is a Cybody that’s fundamentally based in blood sacrifice. No one can nor should actually be its Star Driver; it would kill them.

So we’re not shown Samekh in full yet, but we do get to see Ayingott crushed in one of his hands here. What does that remind me of?
