Saw fake dating brought up as a trope again and. I just immediately went to Daniel having to fake date Ayin so that they can have access to... something. Daniel's just kinda "okay, well, it could have been worse" while Ayin is internally screaming the entire time and as a result looks even more wooden-faced than normal.

At some point I gotta write that idea I had of Ayin tormenting Chesed by way of Chesed having accepted having his own feelings toward Ayin while they all thought he was dead, and Ayin (poor dumb aroace-spec he is) going to Social Sciences and making himself right at home and "I really like it here, you're such a good friend."

Chesed is dying inside the more things go on because he is pining like a forest, and Ayin is confused because he's pretty sure this is a good thing they have but at the same time he wants a few other things from Chesed that he's pretty sure don't make him a good friend, and he doesn't want to seem like he's taking advantage...

Meanwhile Chesed is screaming inside "Ayin, please. Please take advantage here. I am RIGHT HERE."

(Hokma's a few floors up smugly sipping tea. Because he has already been kissed.)
