Many works have specific posts so that I can also link any art I do, or that others may have done for the stories.
I have a Redbubble shop where I can put some of my designs up as stickers, prints, etc. For specific reasons I do not make profit on these things, so it’s entirely paying for production.

Jay HATES the idea that women want to share this space too. In addition to the Tumblr post above he posted this to his Patreon discord, which is not private as his patrons can access it. He laments that people make fem characters because it's default and he wishes they all would transition to men. Here is Jay claiming that there aren't many queer creators in xiv which is INSANE because this is the queerest fandom I have ever seen. You can't sneeze without hitting a queer artist. He also calls himself a pillar of the community, which is HILARIOUS because I have never seen him uplift other creators. You can't be a pillar of the community if you don't engage with the community. Your sycophants don't count.
How can you victimise yourself to such a degree?
He also claimed that if he was a lesbian, all of these callout of his rancid behaviour won't happen, which is laughable because you ask any lesbian in this space what being femme entails, they'd tell you straight up that they have experienced misogyny, no less from people like you Jay.

Jay being ungrateful that ONLY 25 people have shared his post, and then saying you deserve to not be helped when you need it unless you share his post because he's a poor comic artist earning $1.2k from patreon every month. Because not sharing a post from a popular artist is obviously equivalent to not helping someone in dire straits. If you have been around, you'd know that times are hard, especially when you're queer. He's wishing you ill for the offence of not pressing that repost button.

Jay straight up insulting anon's wife because how dare she reads his comic when she hasn't played ShB because her mind would not comprehend the complexity of his plot. And this is AFTER he begs for followers, as he does with every single one of his goddamn post.
So which is it, are you going to appreciate people who read your comic or are you going to put up so many qualifiers you only deem them worthy of following you when they've ticked all of them?
Hey Jay, maybe you should connect to your readers in a genuine manner and not in bad faith where all you want is for them to stroke your ego whilst giving a facade of appreciation.
And maybe, just maybe, you should start uplifting your fellow queer creators before demanding everyone support you.

I can't stop thinking about Ayin being represented by the Ace of Spades, because of the symbolism of the card.
Yes, it's infamously known as the "death card" because of its association with multiple wars (specifically the Vietnam war and its usage as a psychological weapon) thus receiving this reputation.
But, it also symbolizes new beginnings, transformation, authority, and power/dominance.
In cardology it's usually associated with the phrase "point of no return" aka seeing through lies to uncover the truth. The card being also associated with the number 1 also connects it, again, with new beginnings, the mind, and dominance.
It's also considered the highest value card in most card games and in cardology the most energy heavy card.
So, giving Ayin the card that is both associated with death but also life and new beginnings is... Something.

The Dawntrail collector's edition was secondhand, but seemed to have just been checked over. Nothing was really opened.
The Sephirot pins are almost funny in that I now have a full set, right as HHPP announce they have enamel ones for the Sephirot theme.

I'd been wanting it so long, and I was that kid who couldn't wear wristwatches to school so they picked up a habit of pocketwatches before smartphones really took off, and when it was more common your battery would die.
I plan to get a working battery put into it sooner or later, so it can be used as a functional item.
But yeah. If anyone wants refs of Hokma's watch? I got ya covered.
i think avoidance is such a little-recognized ocd compulsion. all the time i talk to people with ocd who are like "i was always having intrusive thoughts about using kitchen knives and harming myself or others but i'm okay now because i just stopped using knives ever 👍 so i'm good now"
if you don't know why this doesn't work, the issue is that ocd never stops when you implement a compulsion. it evolves. today you've "solved" it by never using a knife again (and losing access to an important cooking tool, thus limiting an aspect of your life) but in a few months or a year it'll be that forks are dangerous too. and hey, isn't it risky to use the stove? avoidance will even begin to manifest in places you might not recognize.
the point is that OCD compulsions are never solutions, they're actually the problems. the intrusive thoughts SEEM like the problem and the compulsions FEEL like the solution. and that's how it getsya.
I am Still looking at what would actually work for Netzach's in-game hairstyle...
So far the only ones that feel like they'd work are the character creation one with the weird headband, and Great Lengths, which... needs 30k MGP and the aesthetician to unlock.

Seeing them side by side like this, I'm kind of leaning more toward the CC version based on one big reason: Nezach himself would not keep his hair that neat. Netzach is messy and only puts his hair up to keep it out of the paint. The Great Lengths (and most other long styles so far) are very... neat. Everything is in place.
It kind of looks like Yesod's been doing his hair for him, even.
So, maybe just the one I'd originally been thinking of, but without highlights...
I've also still been looking at styles for Binah, but not coming up with anything I like yet. Samsonian with the hair clip on the one side of the face fits Hod pefectly, but I am most likely not doing Hod.
I was also gonna talk about how I actually do have femininity, and like feminine things ( just not while being a woman), but I think I have gone over that in my other comics enough
This was the best I could do with the materials (i.e, housing items and marketboard prices) that I had accessible.
Ideally the bed would be a four-poster closer to the "royal" one in-game, but that goes for the millions of gil. The drapes would add extra privacy and also warmth, considering that this room at least would have windows facing into the room, and Eorzea/Ishgard does not have double glazing.
It isn't perfectly accurate to the rest of what we see of the Manor (or at all, in some places); the floor, I think, is usually marble, if nothing else. But we don't get much in the way of clues for what the rooms would look like.
This person here on reddit made a good attempt also, which is properly opulent. I do like that both of our ideas have soft and comfortable chairs facing the fireplace - I was designing mine around the time I was writing them sitting there, after all!
I think that mine was somewhat less furnished because for one thing, I did it in one day and only went with what was easily doable as a point of reference, but also... I think that I saw them as guest rooms, comparable to the kind that would be given to commoners passing through and given berth rather than guests of high status.
Just because the WoL was classed as a Ward of House Fortemps doesn't mean they were seen as a true part of the House yet; that would only come later! Instead, I think the WoL was seen as under the House's protection, quite literally a "ward" against anyone trying to hurt them.
Perhaps they were able to personalise their room the more the Count and his sons came to care about them as though they were one of their own.
Now that ch18 is up, I'll have to post up all of those screenshots and references I made for it at some point, because... yeah, I did a fair few.
I used an alt to create a blueprint of the rooms they have in Fortemps Manor, and I have a physical copy of Zayin's Managerial Notebook, too, which I've started (and need to keep up with).
