Cons of Alternative medicines
As I mentioned before in one of the blogs, one of major drawbacks when it comes to this form of medicine is that there is a very limited amount of scientific research that has been done on it. While some of the claims have been proven, there are still a lot of existing questions that are yet to be answered, and hence, the vitality of the techniques cannot be proven yet.
Owing to its flexible nature, many people find it to be an easy method to fool people and con them. There are no government approvals or restrictions present on them. Hence, it becomes really easy to make false and absurd claims, which lure people into buying the products, but in reality, they don’t work at all!
Moreover, they don’t seem to work in the emergency cases. Conventional medicines have been designed keeping in mind the quick response time. In case of emergencies, they come in handy and help us instantly. This is something which the alternative medicines truly lack.
