First art post on this acc, granted it’s basically an updated version of the first major post on my og account (I just yap a lot more in this one)
Back in my younger years, I’d wanna say around 9 or 10 ish years old 3 major things happened around this era of my life for me
1. I got interested in playing Undertale, but unfortunately due to not having money, a computer at the time, and it being about 2015-2016 the game was at peak popularity, in other words I got spoiled on the game. (which was unfortunate seeing as I had no one in my schools who I could talk about the game to at the time.) this is not that important seeing as once I got my own steam account and a pc, and money, the first thing I did was buy Undertale, Hollow Knight, and Fallout New Vegas.
2. The more important thing, I was introduced to Undertale fandom at the time (granted to my like of any actual social media accounts, it was mainly through YouTube) and from here I found out about fan comic dubs.
3. From fan comic dubs I learned of drunk Chara, I don’t know why but that one ask blog in particular and dub of it by Star bot dubs on YouTube had a grip on me that never really went away.
personally through the art of that blog motivated the me back then to get better at art, probably one of the many reasons I am so invested in comics nowadays, and for that I am greatful beyond what I can probably express. It’s been a while since I’ve read or watched through it, but it holds a special place in my mind, as well as some of my fondest memories.
On a side note that I can’t really tell if it’s related or not but around the same ish time I started wearing more green jackets, that’s not really related but a funny coincidence .
Anyways I made these sketches and drawings of fanart primarily due to both the persistence of Ask Drunk Chara in my mind, but also as a metaphorical ‘thank you’ to something I very much enjoyed while I was younger.
Side note: these drawings were mostly done off memory with the exception of the unfinished one with the beery the beer plush but then again most of these are unfinished by definition lol
