I think the producers/challenge creators giving the house no choice of who to put into the final two Truth Booths was their way of punishing the house for trying to win the game on strategy alone.

If you compare Season 5 with previous seasons, you see how past casts try to find reasons why the matches made sense. They did self reflection and analyzed their personality traits. This season did not do that (or they edited that part out). The producers want to sell the matchmaking process as best they can, so they need the cast to discuss it to make the science seem like it at least has some credibility.

Derrick having a problem with Shannon’s decision making process (or lack thereof) should have been a red flag for him.

Many people are solely blaming Shannon for the loss, especially her match, Joey. But Joey himself could have allowed Derrick to try to get the final date with Casandra when he was certain that the clue was about her. He also did not follow the strategy, so he is a hypocrite who also has no remorse for the consequences of his decisions. He took no responsibility for that during the reunion and pointed the blame to his match.

The whole cast lost this game together. It was a series of bad decisions from non-matches sticking together to bad Truth Booth voting. Unfortunately for Shannon, her bad decision could not come at a worse time or be more obvious. It was Derrick after all who picked the wrong match. According to strategy, the 9th beam from week 9, at that point, could have been Casandra/Derrick or Hannah/Joey. They edited out the scene of them trying to figure out which match made more sense or perhaps there was no scene to edit out. It seemed like Derrick decided his match was Shannon and everyone believed him since he’s supposed to be smartest one

This was a really sad, sad season. What a shit show! Can hardly wait for Season 6!!

I really think Hannah and Michael are the second perfect match from week 1.

Michael said that he loves the drama and Hannah seems to always find a way to be dramatic and confrontational.

Osvaldo is honestly such a cutie and he’s so nice too?? Why don’t more girls go after him in the show he’s got it all and he for one isn’t a complete asshat like most of the male cast this season. 

Like, he wasn’t sure if Tyranee would be his match yet he still gave her the chance and took the time to get her know better ‘till he caught feelings for her too and when they ended up being no match he wasn’t disrespectful to her in any way why don’t they cast more dudes like him
