Ayu’s amazing...

I mean, she’s clearly terrified here, but she only freezes up for a moment before this:

She takes action and stays calm, doing what needs to be done. Of course, as time passes she starts to loose her cool:

But even so, she’s the one who saved him.

Also, when Hana pulled Aramaki away from the spider’s hallucination, the dream about his team simply faded. Ayu however, makes her way in to his dream:

While it doesn’t really look or sound like the Ayu we usually see, the point is that her precense took Aramaki’s mind off of the ghosts of his team mates. She is his salvation.

Well yeah, he certainly hasn’t had it easy...

...but it isn’t easy for Ayu, either. Besides, isn’t Aramaki a bit of a hypocrite? Complaining about how no one understands even though it was him who was trampling on Ango’s sorrow not too long ago, telling him to be glad? Not cool Aramaki, not cool. That said, I still think Ayu could do better... but what about Aramaki? Well~...
