So not a romantic ship, but I have imagined my characters Riley and Azaliah in a flight attendant AU. Either Azaliah or Riley is the passenger on business class (because they somehow afforded it) and they chat up one the flight attendants. If Azaliah is the passenger then Riley would be the attendant and vice versa. I guess this would be a meet-cute situation, but I haven't explored any scenarios or dialogue besides briefly entertaining the idea. I imagine Azaliah would be a little overbearing as a passenger (asking to see Riley, play games with her, get to know her) while Riley as a passenger would be sleeping 60% of the time to Azaliah's disappointment because he has no one to talk to during the long flight :(
What made you start shipping them?
For my PPGxRRB ships, I remember seeing a lot of fanart and I was pretty much like "sure why not?". I liked the idea that as grownups they could get over their differences and become friends (and/or more).
What's their cursed couple Halloween costume?
Oh! So I actually thought about this for Butch x Buttercup XD I found out that Butch was voiced by Roger L. Jackson, who is also famously the voice of Ghostface, so Butch and Buttercup's Halloween costume would definitely be Butch as Ghostface and Buttercup as Sidney.

So back to OCs, for the longest time I've wanted to draw Azaliah with the Steve Harvey Laughing Serious meme because I would love giving him emotional whiplash for the shit he does lmao
as for Riley, I've drawn the Confused Black Girl meme for her. Riley puts up with so much weird shit that this can be her default face everyday.

Story brief (still wip) Riley (girl in red) navigates through Ergon, a city of elites, and meets mostly terrible people while she tries to solve the mystery of her dad’s death. The woman in the back is Kurtz, who is a prominent figure in the city, will become an obstacle in Riley’s journey.

If I had to summarize my past year it would be that my art improved but my mental health took a turn for the worse😅 but I'm finally getting help and am slowly working on being better. Might take forever though lolol
