Hola Faberry Friends, this song really spoke to me for faberry in a perspective that really contrasted Quinn so well.

Forgive the reposting, I was unhappy witht he first one and for my sake i made some changes and now have erased my older post that had a broken link.

If Faberry were to go black Friday Shopping would they be brutal and talk in code. Would Quinn protect Rachel relentlessly from all the soccer moms?

Are you kidding?  

Rachel would prepare a PowerPoint and force Quinn to sit through it. She’d have maps and diagrams and a schedule of where exactly they need to be at every minute to maximize their savings and beat the crowds. There would be breathable fabric and bluetooth earpieces involved. 

Ain’t no soccer moms beating them to the hot must-have toys. 

Lucky for Quinn, she’s already something of a shopping pro herself.

In all seriousness though, I did have Rachel do some Black Friday shopping on her own before her evening show in Now I Know My Life Is Sweetening. I kind of imagine both of them to be the types who’d already have most of their shopping done before Thanksgiving and maybe just pop out for one or two sales amidst the craziness.

Hi again Poetz, I keep thinking about how now that DB faberry has a house, what would the aesthetic of their home be. What will be their color scheme. Also is there a way to bribe you into letting the faberry children have a puppy? Lol

The house really is a blank canvas, so anything is possible. Obviously, their daughters’ bedrooms will be getting a Teresa Rinaldi original murals on at least one of the walls. Calliope will probably ask for dragons since she seems to be going through a phase when they buy the house, but her mothers will surely talk her down to something a little fluffier. 

I’m sure Rachel will want to add splashes of color to the rooms since they’re all pretty much plain white walls right now, but I’m not sure Quinn will allow her free reign with the color schemes. Since the house is finished in wood trim, I feel like Quinn is going to want to continue that with the furniture and go with warm, neutral colors. 

And lots of bookcases. 

But I’m sure Rachel will get her hands on at least one of those rooms and go crazy with the yellow or the pink.

Maybe that upstairs loft that Quinn isn't in love with will get the full Rachel Berry.

As for the puppy, maybe when Celeste is older. Quinn is now undoubtedly a cat person, but dogs are much messier beasties to have running around inside the house.

Hey Poetz, hope you are having a nice summer. I been thinking a lot about how everyone always talks about Rachel's favorite movies and never Quinn. In DB what are some of Quinn's favorite movies? Is Quinn a bit of a secret cinaphile? I could see her enjoying something along the lines of It's a wonderful life or maybe as a guilty pleasure Jenny's wedding. What does Rachel think about them?

It's been a dark, rainy spring for the most part, and I've been buried in work, but I am getting a little time off this week. Thanks for asking.

Rachel does mention in Don’t Want To Wake Up Lonely that Quinn loves the classic films from the golden age of Hollywood, so It’s A Wonderful Life is definitely on her list of favorite holiday films. She also likes those Hitchcock thrillers like Vertigo and Rear Window and basically anything with Katherine Hepburn.

I’m sure it’s unsurprising that she also loves all versions of the Jane Austen films (Emma, Pride & Prejudice, Sense & Sensibility, etc.) 

She’ll claim that musicals are Rachel’s thing and she just watches them to humor her wife, but so many of them are also Hollywood classics that Rachel knows she’s lying about that and secretly loves them too. 

Quinn also still has that thing for Emily Blunt, so she’s seen all of her films, including A Quiet Place. Rachel isn’t fond of that one - she’s so not a horror girlie. She also loves to complain about her wife’s celebrity crush and give Quinn a hard time about it, but she does watch most of those films with her - and not only to keep her from drooling over Emily.

Quinn didn’t really enjoy Jenny’s Wedding since she didn’t think the actresses had much chemistry or that the characters had a great relationship - she was also rooting for Riley in Happiest Season for the same reason. But I’m a Cheerleader and D.E.B.S. are actually her guilty pleasure movies, along with Imagine Me & You for very obvious reasons. She and Rachel have watched that one together a number of times.

In fact, a workshop for a musical version of that may or may not fall into Rachel's path in the very near future.

Happy New Year Poetz, I hope you are well. I been wondering in DB cannon when was Quinn's last cigarette? Or did she never pick it up again after her punk phase?I feel like in the early years there had to be a fight where she had one out of frustration.

That is an interesting question to consider. 

She obviously still had, or had access to, a pack of cigarettes after they were married, since she brought them out to roleplay her pink-haired, skank self. 

I kind of imagine she’d gotten in the very bad habit of stress smoking for most of her senior year after the skank episode, even while appearing to clean-cut again when scheming to get Beth back.  But then after the car accident, in which I gave her a partially collapsed lung and a chest tube, she was forced to quit them entirely while she healed. 

So she probably did fall back into the habit of having a cigarette here and there during college when she was stressed about her life or exams or relationships.  Of course, having Rachel as her friend meant getting the constant lectures about her health every time Rachel caught her or caught a whiff of smoke on her, so she ended up quitting entirely by the time she moved to New York. 

She probably held on to that last pack as a safety blanket in case she ever really, really needed one again. (Like getting through her maid of honor duties at Rachel’s imagined wedding to a man, and then getting through the feared potential breakup after they were finally together, and then just because it was fun to roleplay once in a while and rile up her very dramatic wife.)

I saw someone ask for redo of s1 when of quinn going to rachel when she is feeling fat but the gp rachel and pregnancy 👀👀👀👀 yes pls.

Hi poetz, I believe I had read that you mention rachel preagnancy was tough. I was just wondering at which point did Rachel preagnancy in DB go from normal to a real health issues. Was there any perticular accident during the pregnancy. (Sorry did not mean to massage you!😓)

I haven’t made a firm decision on how difficult Rachel’s pregnancy may or may not be. Most of the discussion of that has been hypothetical.  

She did have a more difficult time getting pregnant to begin with. As of now, I imagine that it takes three IVF cycles for the pregnancy to take hold, and the second one had an initial positive pregnancy test only to have the follow up blood test show the pregnancy hadn’t been viable. So by the third attempt, Rachel is feeling like maybe it’s not meant to be.

And once she is pregnant, she’s not going to feel like she’s basking in the glow of it the same way Quinn seemed to. She’ll feel tired and fat and clumsy a good bit of the time and will pretty much decide that, while she doesn’t regret the experience, one pregnancy is more than enough for her. 

The health issue I sometimes consider that she may have is elevated blood pressure in her third trimester that Doctor Barnes will be closely monitoring. It would dance right along the upper limit of normal and possibly develop into gestational hypertension, which of course would put her at risk of preeclampsia. (She wouldn’t actually develop preeclampsia though.)

But again, I haven’t firmly settled on that, mostly because I also like the idea of Rachel going a few days past her due date and being absolutely miserable about it. I doubt Doctor Barnes wouldn’t let that happen if Rachel actually crosses the line into hypertension.

Amy Acker being the doctor makes soo much better in my head. I also love babyberry when it happened I also fell in love with the nickname does it ever come back once Callie is a little older like from Santana or even Quinn herself?

I think Santana might end up using it once or twice since she has such a thing for nicknames and that one is fairly benign. I feel like Quinn and Rachel will probably go with her name and sweetheart and honey. And we know Rachel calls her pretty girl sometimes. :)
