but anon i’m not sure if you’re aware what you’ve really awoken uh. for a while there i had an impulse to make an aziraphale/crowley playlist that was just the beatles. i did not because i assumed i would be sent to the stocks for such a thing but i’m,, reconsidering,,,,

it’s more like half the simon & garfunkel discography that i had 2 unfairly leave out!! maybe i just need to go ahead and make a gomens s&g playlist (bc like unfortunately i already have a beatles one??) since every go playlist involves me adding and then having to delete at leave five of their songs

oof though i do go back and forth on the dangling conversation because fuc! that’s a heavy one. the aesthetic (?) of it though feels so much like them, somehow, i keep using it in playlists anyway

but then also the lines “like a poem poorly written / we are verses out of rhythm / couplets out of rhyme / in syncopated time” i think personally are almost never very aziraphale and crowley – except maybe in the late 60s, learning how to be really Around each other again after aziraphale’s rejection
