changing Tsuna's Azem (Ourania) from a scaleless au ra to a middie and I think it works much better. Going to do more work on her, but I think her face is good for now!
Fun fact! Moles under the eye are also called nakibokuro or 'tragic/tear mole' based on the superstition that the person who has it is bound to cry a lot, and have a tragic love life. (lol)

The intention was to do Azem cosplay. Since Azem!Helen's name means torch. What I have in mind doesn't have a close enough design ingame.
Hell's Kier can now join the Wonderous Tail list. Will see if DRK (DRK mount farm) can make it work after I adjusted the UI to see Suzaku's cast bar.

More often than not, a public grading or testing of creatures would attract curious spectators or fellow students wanting to try their work against each other for practical purposes. But out here in the Lethe, audiences were few. Lahabrea attended as he is one of the graders, two young women both his students. Hythlodaeus who was invited. And the grim and critical Hades, the other reason for there being so few audiences.
(This is a re-enactment)
Helen led a man height feline to the waters, its long prominent whiskers twitching as it looks towards its caretaker. She patted the huge beast on its forelimb and made a “mirupping” sound. The creature trotted deeper into the lake as Helen retreated to her audience on the shore.
A whistle from her lips and the wind was still at first. A crackling sound emitted from the creature, energy streaks around the creature. A blinding explosion throwing water everywhere except on its creator and her lavender hair friend both standing together under a large round leaf used as an umbrella.
Nearby stood Lahabrea who's force shield sheltered the young ones standing next to him as well. A flustered Hades was the only one drenched for standing away from the others and not reacting in time. He was seething and there was a medusa jellyfish unceremoniously squiggling on his head.
Resisting the urge to laugh at the scene, Hythlodaeus flitted over to the drenched man to pacify him before his outburst distract from the grading.
Lahabrea's shield dissolved, the two young ones with him strive to keep their composure. The older man stride to the edge of the pool, bending to pick up one of the victims of the creature's electrifying attack. a remora.
"Oh... it is merely paralyzed." Lahabrea studied the twitching creature.
"This blast was meant to shock its predators allowing mine to make a fight or flight decision."
"And it's killing tools?"
"Fang and claws.”
"It can be stronger."
"This one is the eldest. The younger ones can only choose singular targets. The energy it generates comes from itself. It needs to eat and rest to replenish its energy."
"Such mundane limits."
"The environment would not be able to handle such regular devastation. That was not my intention." Helen shot a glare at the creature, somehow it manages to look slightly apologetic.
"Passable. I had expected more from one of your calibre. Such talents are wasted on the randomness of natural evolution. Should you tire of the Cthonic Horns I would welcome you to my faculty."
"Thank you, sir. I shall keep that in mind." She watched the older man leave, one of his students flashed her a thumbs up sign. The other clapped an arm around Helen's shoulder.
"Teacher is always like this. This is as good a praise he gives anyone." She patted Helen on the back and release her. The duo scrambled to catch to Lahabrea.
Turning to her remaining companions she was treated to the scene of a highly flustered Hades glaring her. Her senior huffed, opened his mouth as if to start berating but he caught himself. His face started turning red and he stomped away instead.
“That was very impressive. When you should send in its concept, I will do what I can to expedite its approval.” Her lavender hair friend smiled.
"And you, little one, gave a more spectacular display than I had previously seen. You done your mistress proud." He patted the creature. One would swear that it looked smug.
"Azem was asking about you. If it interests you to learn more than we taught you. Tell her I sent you. Worry not for Hades, I will shall attend him" He gave a little laugh before dancing away. Leaving her with her thoughts.

I blame jokes of Eternal Challenger sensei and Lotus hairstyle mad uncle using qi projectiles to blast fish out of water for this one. Green beast man dude probably did this in one of the joke mangas too.

Still has no head for magic
She's the shard of Azem that would always be reincarnated as a Miqo'te or Hrothgar. Since the chunkiest Meteor shard had been passed onto her in 2.0 because of Battle of Carteneau. Its still not her strong suit.
When she does return to the Aetherial her one shard might or might not be separated from the others and keep reincarnating as a Miqo'te or Hrothgar while the remaining chunkiest chunk comes back as whatever the jackpot strike.
Maybe just maybe the feline part of her was too focused on hunting birds and can't use magic as well when she was Azem or probably even as magically incline as her other shards.
When White Mage gets here, we'll see how. Might even try Sage to see if she better at channeling Aether through tools than casting it... ain't that what Red Mage is doing?

Could it be? Hades had an argument trying to get Azem to come to Elpis?
Relationship wise I'm probably thinking that Hades's first love(Persephone placeholder) had chosen to return to the Star over staying with him. He had spent some amount of time alone before meeting Hythlodaeus who try to draw him out of his shell.
Helen(unrelated to Persephone blood or soul wise) came in later as a student going through multiple courses because plot reasons(Lahabrea sensei think she's smart and has potential for more but too distracted by cats).
Hades and Helen hit it off but she was always too flighty for him. He nitpicks out of concern but it always comes out of his mouth wrong, turning Hades into the Tsundere (Ultimate).
Elpis argument was probably Hades wanting to take things a step forward and having Hythlodaeus in as his wingman (Hythlodaeus and Helen are well known partners in crime). but no thanks to Hermes opportunity was lost and he can't remember why he wants to be there and never worked up the courage to ask again.
Fast forward to the here and now. He seen how entrenched she is in her current life. she has Helen's quirkiness but none of her wit or the natural flare with magic
