Rumor has it that the Arizona legislature is going to go back to work on Friday, May 8. President Fann alerted the Senate earlier today, but Speaker Bowers is silent. He required to give us at least 24 hours notice. According to my clock, he has 50 minutes before that deadline hits at 11 AM. This is so disrespectful, particularly to legislators who live out of town and have to drive to Phoenix today if we start tomorrow morning. I was thinking about packing up my apartment before the Republicans turn Phoenix into the New York City of the west with a ramped up COVID-19 pandemic. I guess I'll be packing later today in my apartment. I left my dresses, stockings, and high heels in Phoenix on March 20. Unfortunately, they're all winter dresses. I picked this outfit out for tomorrow on the floor, ERA purple dress, plus a face mask and my Isotoner gloves which just arrived in the mail. #azhouse #azhousedems #azleg #ld9 #ld9democrats #shepersisted (at Tucson, Arizona) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_5QpzygSql/?igshid=109mpp2tlf51q
