Imagine Crowley transforming into a snake and not being able to change back for some reason. Aziraphale takes care of him and frets about keeping him warm and safe. When Crowley finally manages to change back he misses being so physically close to the angel but doesn’t know how to put it into words. Meanwhile, Aziraphale desperately misses Crowly’s constant companionship but doesn’t want to appear too clingy so pretends to want the space in his bookshop back.
