Can I request Azusa with a partner who is very overprotective and self sacrificing? Grey watchful eyes followed your every step as he tried to burn the image of you to his retina. His breath got caught in his throat as the moonlight from the grand windows shone down on you. Azusa pressed his teeth together tightly as his heart raced within its boney cage. As you walked past him, his nostrils flared as he tried to inhale as much of your lovely scent as possible.

He had tried to court you many times, but to no avail. You always brushed him off and came up with halfhearted excuses. Azusa was used to such excuses, but he could not help but feel angered. However, his anger was never towards you. Because how could he be angry at the only thing that made life worth living? You didn’t have any trouble speaking with your friends and your other classmates, so he clearly was the problem.

He asked his trusted companions for advice, but sadly his beloved scars could not offer him any advices. Azusa’s brothers had noticed the change in the grey head’s behaviour, but they didn’t confront him. To that he was grateful.

Soft footsteps followed you everywhere you went. He refused to let you out of his sight as if he was afraid you would be whisked away by a more handsome and capable man (and to his luck you probably would).

You were naive and fragile, something that deepened his already bottomless feelings. The need to protect you and possess you became stronger for every passing day. At first he had become frightened by his uncharacteristically egoistical feelings and thoughts, but at time passed he came to peace with his feelings. Azusa decided to let his heart lead him on, because he deserved that after all those years.

Self restraint was something that became nonexistent as he spiralled deeper into his love for you. Vampires felt feelings 10 times more intensely than humans and his love soon became too unbearable. It was hotter and more suffocating than the cold pain that his beloved blades gave him. His heart had a mind of its own as it quickened at the mere thought of you. If Azusa didn’t know any better, he would have thought he was dying.

It was a moonless night when his patience finally wore thin. It was as if an invisible tread inside him snapped and everything he saw, smelled, felt, heard, tasted and breathed was you.

Azusa knew you would be happy with him in the manor he shared with his brothers. He had already told them absolutely everything about you. The only thing that was missing was you feeling the same for him. But he didn’t mind. He didn’t mind as long as he was able to hold you within his arms and feel your beating heart.
