I love this man so much 💜 Literally one of the best yanderes ever and I stand by that. Lemme know if you have any Diabolik Lovers requests, I’m always down to write for that fandom <3
The sweet scent of cakes and tea filled the air in the vampire’s bedroom. Multiple lilac candles were lit, creating an eerily cozy atmosphere. Long thick curtains were drawn, shielding the room from the outside world. The round table in the centre of the room was covered in a white tablecloth and an elegant purple tea set was set out on top of it.
Three embroidered chairs were against the table. To your left sat Kanato and to your right sat Teddy. The teddy bear that you swore sometimes moved on its own. Its eyes were dull yet you could feel a thousand souls staring right back at you. It never failed to send icy shivers down your spine.
The clinking of a silver teaspoon against a teacup broke you out from your thoughts. Big purple eyes were staring at you with an emotion you couldn’t quite pinpoint.
“What are you thinking about?” his voice as soft as velvet, yet you knew all too well to keep your guard up. Nothing good ever came out of it if you didn’t watch your back. He tilted his head slightly as he blinked, his long black eyelashes brushing against his skin.
“Nothing in particular” it was the truth, more or less.
His thin eyebrows furrowed as his mouth curled up into a sneer. “Don’t lie to me!”
One would think you had become desensitised to his screaming by now, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. “I’m not lying” you tried your best to sound honest, but judging by his narrow eyes he didn’t believe you.
It happened faster than what your mind could register. One second Kanato was sitting at the table, the next he had leaped onto you, causing you and the chair to tumble down with him strangling you.
Your nails clawed at his hands, but he refused to let go. Oxygen was slowly disappearing from your lungs and you heaved after air. Your vision was blurry as you stared up at the vampire with a pleading expression. You couldn’t speak, but you hoped he could see the pleas in your eyes.
Right when you were about to finally pass out, helt go of your neck with a tch. “I think you owe me for this” his eyes fell to your neck and your heart quickened. “It’s only fair is it not?” a small smile played on his lips and you could only dread was what about to come next.

The soft pitter patters of raindrops falling onto the world fill your ears. It's a long droning sound, but not one you'd like to take for granted. You keep your cheek planted against the cold glass of the window, peering out at the dreary world just beyond your reach. It is..peaceful.
At least, the days it rains tend to be the most peaceful in the Tsukinami household. With Shin busying himself with whatever he does– you couldn't be bothered to figure what, and Carla choosing to spend his time admiring his vast collection of paintings.
Part of you is thankful for it, for the few hours of thoughtfulness before it all comes crashing down as you are forced to remember your place in this world as prey for a bloodthirsty man. But, you can't help but find the need to mock yourself for the ignorance that landed you here.
Ever since you were little, you'd dream about someday living in the same house as your soulmate, getting married to eachother and maybe having kids. You remember spending hours staring at that name, that simple string of characters carved into the skin on your wrist.
At night, is when you were weakest. When you'd let your thoughts run rampant, restless for god knows why, and too tired to pretend to the empty air around you. You remember the kisses you'd press against your wrist, in the hopes that your soulmate could feel your devotion to him. And yet, up until– when was it, six, ten months ago? When love had all but failed you, and hope had left your ever-yearning heart, did fate finally gift you what you had been waiting for your entire life. And by God, do you wish it didn't.
You can remember the look in Carla's eyes, when you had accused him of being the same as them. The same as the vampires who had ripped you apart, their fangs scraping up against every inch of your skin, like trying to find something new– find another undiscovered piece of your body and claim it for themselves like fanatic explorers looking for a thrill.
You never knew what 'eyes filled with venom' had meant until you saw his eyes. Molten pools of gold, with the need to burn you alive. Overtake your every sense until you lost where you begun and he finished. The thing that truly sours the memory of your first meeting with your "One true love", is the tears that escaped from your eyes. The tears you'd been holding back since you had first left your parents, your home, and moved to an entirely different country, just to find out that you'd been sold off to be Vampire food.
They were angry tears, the kind made from the rage you felt for being so weak, for being incapable to change your future. Each tear ran hot against your skin, a stark contrast to the cool sweat that had spread across your body from the fear that wracked through you. You were a mess of emotions, bearing your heart on your sleeve.
A fool..
......Speaking of tears, it seems your emotions have gotten the better of you, again. Salty rivers stream from your tired, sunken in eyes onto your cheeks, before making contact with the window. The droplets pool together as they fall from your eyes and into a nook just between you and the glass. It's wet. Damp even. Uncomfortable.
Enough to force your cheek away from the cool glass, but your eyes stay fixed upon the dreary world outside. And, despite the emptiness you feel gnawing at your insides, you can feel peace wash over as you watch the rain beat down....
*Knock* *Knock*
..Perhaps it was too early to call it that, after all, fate has demonstrated to you time and and time again that your so called "peace" was a false notion; real peace comes and goes, never over staying it's welcome. Yet, you still yearn for its warmth.
*Knock* *Knock*
You really should answer the door, Carla was never one to hold onto his temper once he lost it afterall, but you stay rooted to your spot at the window– paralyzed. Whether it was because of fear, sadness, or some other strange emotion, you couldn't quite tell– you don't quite care either way. In the end it means nothing, you mean nothing.
*BANG*
The door is slammed opened and nearly shatters into splinters upon impact with the wall behind it.
Silence follows short after, though not for long, as Carla is quick to make his way over to you– his heavy footsteps sounding against the hardwood floor, stopping just behind you. You don't know why, but as you watch him in the reflection of the window, you can't help but hold your breath. His face, although partially covered, contorts, revealing the emotion hidden underneath.
Rage.
He growls something. A command, probably something along the lines of, "Stand up, woman", and under normal circumstances, perhaps you would've listened– but your mind is stuck in a daze, one you can't seem to shake.
Another beat of silence passes between you and him– neither moving, only watching the subtle twitches and breathes of the other. It's broken by Carla once again, his expression unchanged, he takes a step forward and reaches his hand out to grip your face. You can only watch as the unmistakable feeling dread fills your stomach and burns in the back of your throat.
Lifting your chin with his forefinger and thumb, his grip hard enough to leave a bruise, Carla forces your gaze away from the ensaddened world outside, your refuge, and places your eyes directly on him.
Its in this moment that you remember the first time you had heard 'eyes so beautiful you could get lost in them', you had thought it was just a figure of speech– a phrase for the romantics to tell their lovers. But the moment you look into Carla's golden eyes you truly do lose all sense of direction.
The more you look at him the more you feel your weak heart yearning for his. You can't stop it; the urge to pull him closer, feel the coolness of his skin against the warmth of your own, a warm fluttering that pulls in your stomach, leaving you dazed, unable to think about anything but him, heat searing through you like a lightning strike. The more you try to pull away from it the deeper you sink in his trap, bewitched by him– unable to remind yourself of all the hurt and the suffering that Carla has cost you. All you can think about is him.
Oh what a curse it is this love of yours.

The living room was dark save from a few rays of pale moonlight that basket the furniture in a cold glow. It was empty and it felt haunted by past memories of lives you could never hope to fully understand. The antique sofa you were seated on was soft to the touch and rather comfortable. A soft dark green fleece blanket was draped over you in a cozy fashion that seemed foreign in the manor.
You let out a sigh as you let yourself sink further into the sofa in hopes of it swallowing you whole like the monster in the fairytale books you were so found of as a child. The trees swayed in the night wind and cast shadows over the walls. Phantom hands reached for you and you pressed your eyes shut in order to calm your nerves.
You could feel his presence before you either heard or saw him. The shadowy hands stilled in the movements and it was as if the moon herself held her breath. You could feel his eyes boring into you as he picked your souls apart and peered into it invasively. Cold sweet coated your temples as your throat coiled together like a frightened snake. The real snake was however the man who stood in the doorway.
Soft footsteps sounded against the dark hardwood floors accompanied by a sweet hum that sounded like a call from the devil himself. Your heartbeat quickened as it fought against your ribs in order to escape.
He stopped on the back of the sofa, just out of your sight. His hummed continued to fill the air.
When you were brought to the mansion and had been forced to pick one of the vampires that resided within its four walls, you thought you had been wise and chosen the safest option. You thought he had been better than the lazy male chauvinist, the sadist who enjoyed to preform experiments on unwilling subjects, the hotheaded jock who thought everything was a competition, the maniac who’s emotions was unpredictable and the one with anger issues and pent up frustration. You had thought that the persevere nonchalant man was the best option. You soon had come to regret your decision as he subjected you to the worst thing you could possibly encounter in that damned mansion. That being his undying love.
You had been quickly swayed by his heartfelt compliments and honeyed manipulation. When you realised his feelings ran as deep as the deepest pits of hell, it was way too late. You were within his claws and he would never ever let you go. You had tried to escape him, but it had been futile. It was no exaggeration to call him the smartest of the Sakamaki brothers. His intelligence was truly frightening and you would soon learn that even his brothers feared his mind.
A cold hand rested on your shoulders in a clear warning on not to do anything stupid. You swallowed as his cold fingers caressed your skin gently. Soft lips pressed against the crown of your head in a gentle kiss.
“Are you sitting here all by yourself in the dark?” his sweet voice filled your ears as he leaned down by your ear. You still couldn’t see him, but you didn’t need to to know that he had a knowing smirk plastered on his handsome features.
Words died on your tongue as you raked your mind in order to come with a fitting answer. Laito chuckled at your silence. “I suppose I should at least join you. That’s the least thing our future husband can do.”
The sofa dipped as he took a seat besides you. His thigh resting against yours as if he was afraid you would disappear if he moved away. His green eyes found yours and you were once again struck by his beauty. Despite how much you feared him, your heart couldn’t help but ache at his beauty and loving gaze. You often wondered if he had you under a spell, but you knew better.
A pale hand gently brushed away a strand of your hair as the red head let his eyes take in your very feature. He leaned in and breathed in the scent of your neck before he moved and placed a soft kiss to your cheek. This action stirred more terror in you than anything else possible could. This little action was a solid prof of his undying love and your inability of escaping him.
Reiji’s reaction to a s/o who crochets tea coasters and doilies and places them around the mansion for him to use with his tea sets. Her favourite ones always go in his study. Shhh.
Reiji: At what point does this develop from doilies to tea cosies? Fufu, for now, I see little issue with it. It is a cute hobby.
Reiji: At the very least, it spares the furniture from from heat stains.
