I find it funny that many of the people in that reblog chain act as though using the alphabets and words of other languages if it's meant to be used stylistically is completely fine...but if someone were to do that with any of the Japanese scripts then it 100% would be an issue of appropriation. Which they'd be right, absolutely WOULD be—so why shouldn't the same afforded to Greek?

For them all "whites" (US terminology in this case) are one and the same so if a white person does something somewhere the others around the globe cannot complain because they are from the same group, aka they all think the same and are a hivemind.

But also, I never once mentioned my appearance? I think these peeps wouldn't recognize me as "white" on the street anyways but they went on and assumed that I am white because I am Greek. Which is automatically pretty racist.

And they act as if Greeks of all appearances don't get frustrated that their language is misused???? Like, do they think that Afro Greeks see that monstrosity of a word and go "yasss Beyonceee go guurl, Black excellence" ???? 😂 And isn't that assumption racist on its own??

Americans have no right to judge other people's ethnicities when they dont understand or appreciate or research enough of that.

Also what do fans know about their celebrities?? They have managers, a whole team to what to say to appeal to their fans like Beyonce, they know what they are doing but the scary thing it's they take the cancel to the extreme if someone tells smth negative about them.
